THAT'S FOR MUM

Hi Chelsea's Fans..,

Chelsea 3 Liverpool 2 (AET: Chelsea win 4-3 on aggregate)

FRANK LAMPARD was the penalty hero as Chelsea booked their place in the Champions League final. But they needed extra-time to overcome determined Liverpool last night.

Lampard, playing less than a week after the death of his mother, Pat, calmly slotted home the decisive 97th-minute spot-kick after Sami Hyppia brought down Michael Ballack.

Lampard’s dad, Frank Snr, watched from the crowd as his son almost broke down in tears after scoring.

The penalty came a minute after Michael Essien had a goal disallowed with four Chelsea men offside, including Didier Drogba standing in front of keeper Jose Reina.

But Drogba, who had put Chelsea ahead after 33 minutes before Fernando Torres had equalised on 64 minutes to force the extra half-hour, finished off Rafa Benitez’s men with a close-range effort on 105 minutes.

Liverpool got one back on 117 minutes when Ryan Babel, on for Torres, fired in a long-range effort which Petr Cech palmed into his own net.

However, Chelsea held on and now face Manchester United on May 21 in Moscow.

Weldone to all.., Weldone Lampard...,

Bring it on, Chelsea!!!
